My first face to face appointment since my bowel cancer operation in November 2019 went off satisfactorily with no problems detected. Miss Patel had to leave the room quite soon after my arrival but did ask relevant questions,which helped with what I was experiencing, beforehand. Suzanne, the Colorectal Nurse then took over, examining me and answering my one and only question. I have every faith in Miss Patel and her team's treatment of me during the operation and following.

Felt a little bit stupid due to a few comments on the way I was describing my symptoms. Otherwise felt fine. Friendly. Felt confident with the diagnosis and suggested follow up checks.

I was admitted to furness General hospital with severe stomach pains it turned out to be gallstones in the end but had serious issues and miss patel was so understanding she listened and was totally honest with me from start she undoubtedly saved my life
